My approach is based on the following evidenced based methods:

 

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Solution Focused Brief Therapy

  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)

  • Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

 

I also enjoy using the expressive arts (movement and art) as a way of processing experiences.  I'm trained in Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and strive to practice these principles in my work with clients.
